LGBTQ+ Representation in Cinema
Date of Creation
Summer 2017
Description
"LGBTQ+ Representation in Cinema" is an interactive website that is really split up into two parts. The first part allows users to look at box office data from the top grossing films of the most successful independent and major film studios that contain LGBTQ+ content. The second part allows users to look at case studies conducted on those films. This so users can discuss LGBTQ+ representation both quantitatively and qualitatively in order to judge the current state of cinematic representation and where it's headed.
