Description
Using a program called Videoscribe, Jason Leddington created digital videos to review and explain complex readings and ideas outside of class time. To produce these videos, Jason recorded his narration using Audacity in our audio recording studio, created the Scribe using Videoscribe, then edited the two files together using Final Cut X. When the videos were finished they were posted to his Moodle course site. His students were then asked to view the video, read an accompanying passage and write a reflection on what they had read. His engaging video lectures can be viewed on his YouTube channel. One example is below.
