German Studies provides an integrated and interdisciplinary approach to the study of German language, the analysis of artifacts of German culture – literature, art, music, film, etc. – and the use of German for special purposes, for example, in a business setting. The German Studies Faculty Scholarship collection contains records filtered by program from Faculty Books, Faculty Conference Papers and Presentations, Faculty Contributions to Books, Faculty Journal Articles, and Other Faculty Research and Publications. The German Studies Student Scholarship collection contains records filtered by program from the Honors Thesis and Masters Thesis collections.
The main German Studies site includes a program description, faculty and staff contact information, and major and minor requirements. Past versions of the program website are archived by the Special Collections and University Archives (SCUA) using the Archive-It web archiving services; capture began in 2015. Finding aids for program records are also available online.
