Savoir dérouter. Pierre Senges, érudit égarant
Publication Date
12-2016
Description
This article examines the ways in which erudition—acquired knowledge drawn from literary or other sources—becomes in Pierre Senges’ books the basis for creating knowledge via the invention of new forms. Combining erudition and imagination, Senges’ fictional encyclopedism produces an atypical cartography of knowledge that playfully subverts the preferred tools for collecting and organizing tous les savoirs du monde, and calls in turn for new figurations and reconfigurations of the world.
