Abstract
During the week of April 19th-23rd, our company held 10 events for the Bucknell students. Our main priority was to provide the Bucknell students with a wellness week, in hopes to increase positively and well-being across campus. There was a common theme across all of our events; we gave the students an opportunity to escape their confined space to release stress and encourage unity throughout our student body. The week-long program consisted of ten activities: yoga, therapy dogs, sticky-note wall, random acts of kindness campaign, meditation, yard games, sunset viewing parties, block party, a movie roulette, chipotle and campfires and a featured guest speaker. We were thrilled to be able to partner with the CAP center for three of our events. As a result, our week-long program fostered mental, physical and social wellness for Bucknell students. The majority of company fundraising was done through social media and bingo boards. Each company member posted the bingo board to their Instagram story and included the link to the fundraising page in their bios. The company fundraiser was shared with friends and family. We learned that this was the most effective way to fundraise. We raised almost $2000 solely from online fundraising! During the week of April 19th to April 22nd, our company partnered with a different local restaurant every day. We signed contracts with each to agree upon a percentage of the night's profits would be donated to the company fundraising page for Mental Health America. The company advertised this through their social media account through posts that were reposted by individual company members.
