Abstract

B The Change chose to work with Walnut Acres Foundation, an educational and cultural organization that is at the forefront of the organic foods movement. They donate organic produce to help fight food insecurity in the Union & Snyder County area. Our unique design of Bucknell’s campus on our comfort colors t-shirts was very attractive to the University’s students, faculty, staff, and alumni. We sold a total of 186 t-shirts to fund our service initiatives. B The Change decided to have a Fall Festival at Walnut Acres in celebration of what we accomplished. We raised $421 for the foundation which will be used to buy new equipment for the farm or buy a variety of organic seeds to plant during Spring. For Walnut Acres Foundation, our company has constructed two small picnic tables, one large picnic table, and a corn hole board set with their unique logo design. We have also cleaned up their site, built a fire pit made out of repurposed rocks, and added to their website page with forms of event registration and volunteer sign-ups for the community for lasting impact.
